The airport at Dinard is half an hour from the cottage, served by Ryanair, with daily flights from Stansted and flights several times a week from both Bristol and East Midlands .

Brittany Ferries also has several other convenient routes: Portsmouth-Cherbourg, Portsmouth-Caen, Poole-Cherbourg and Poole-Roscoff. Cherbourg and Caen are a two-hour drive from Sains; the drive from Roscoff takes a little longer, about two and a half hours.
